The goal for this room was to add STORAGE in a bedroom with no closet, while opening up FLOOR SPACE for play. Since M loves RED, I built a loft bed and repainted his dresser to make a unique and practical space exciting for him.

I like that there is more space in my bedroom now. My favorite thing is my bed because I can play under it and do tricks on it.

This room is quite small. To make the most of the space, I built the bed into the wall {repurposing a vertical bookshelf} and built stepped cubbies that double as stairs. Since R’s favorite color is “ALL OF THEM” I included pops of color via bedding, rugs and wall decals.

I LOVE my room! The best part of my room is the rainbows. … well actually…. EVERYTHING … even sleeping.
